Valentino sure knows how to rock your hearts with its Rockstud Mini Leather Shoulder Bag. For those who fell in love and had an amorous bag affair with the rockstud, here’s a good news for you: the rockstud shoulder bag is back with all the refinements and upgrading that it deserves.
This is Valentino’s Twist Lock My Rockstud Shoulder Bag. As you can see, it’s a lot different than the original Rockstud version. Considered to be a smoking fresh-of-the-grill kind of bag, this Valentino leather goody is perfect for your daytime-elegance ensemble. The well-structured shape of this bag is further highlighted with the Valentino’s signature pyramid studs in a shiny yellow gold-tone effect.
The side straps and zipped top gives you full access to the bag, also giving you easy organized on the go. It also has a detachable shoulder strap and a twist-lock fastening side straps for adjustable width.

Valentino is making a resounding quick-witted comeback with its Rockstud Quilted Bag that looks absolutely a million-dollar beauty in all its angles. The Rockstud Bag already earned its name, it is a popular accessory from Valentino but for this season, the creative team behind this fashion brand designed the Rockstud shoulder bags with quilt effect.
Though Chanel is undeniably known for its quilted bags, Valentino on the other hand is quietly making a big competition with its quilting and studding effects that makes its bags stand out from the crowd.
Part of Valentino’s 2016 Fall Collection, we are definitely eyeing this Rockstud Quilted Bag. We are predicting that this will be another “IT” bag to watch out for, so make sure to include it on your list.
Aside from the diamond quilt and rockstuds, we are amazed by the eye candy color! The light peachy color looks feminine yet with a modern touch. And oh, the delicate chain is also swoon-worthy!
The interior features one internal patch pocket and zip pocket, measuring 10 x 20 x 5 (H x W x D) cm, priced at $2375 USD or €1550 via Luisa Via Roma.

Whenever I’m at the airport, I have loads of time on my hands, especially once my errands (change-money-check-out-bookstore-shop-at-Hermès) are done. Then I’ll do my next favourite thing, people watching, or more specifically, watching the kinds of bags people are carrying as they make their way to their flights. And one bag I’ve been seeing loads of lately is the Valentino Rockstud Double Handle Bag, with the one in the smallest size (but of course, right?) being the most common.
Valentino’s take on the bag-with-wings style that’s still all the rage now, the 23 cm by 20 cm leather bag comes adorned with studs on the sides and on the sling. And instead of the usual flat leather straps most Valentino’s bags come in, these ones come with stiff rolled leather handles, which are by far more comfortable, and easier on the eyes, standing in place nicely as opposed to the former that just flops over.
Ladies who I’ve observed carrying this bag are also younger, from the blonde in jeans at Malpensa with her Rockstud Double Handle Bag in a bright hue of red, to the Chinese chick at HKIA with her stunner in deep blue with silver studs. Priced atUSD1960 via Valentino online, you could order yourself one via the site which ships internationally and be the next girl I spot the next time I’m boarding a flight.

Without a doubt, the Valentino Rockstud is one beautiful bag! It’s classic Rockstud meets bucket bag, which is an interesting (yet delightful) combination. I love the traditional bucket bag shape paired with the not-so-traditional studs on the shoulder strap. Even more intriguing, however, is the way this Valentino Rockstud bucket bag is cinched closed. Most bucket bags have a drawstring closure. But not Valentino! Nope, this bag features a unique buckled strap that pulls the sides together. In fact, this method seems as though it would be more convenient than a drawstring, making this piece even more desirable.
This might sound a little weird, but my preferences in handbags seem to gradually progress. It is almost like a cycle that repeats itself every now and then. And lately, I have been a little partial to bucket bags for some reason. I suppose it makes sense. The classic bucket is an iconic style that will stand the test of time. They are roomy and versatile, making them the perfect wardrobe staple. Plus they are different from your everyday tote or satchel. When it comes to bucket bags though, I tend to think of designers like Alexander Wang, or even Louis Vuitton. That is, until now. What are some of your thoughts? Do you love the new Valentino Rockstud Bucket Bag?

Once a year, I like to treat myself to one big luxury item and what better time to splurge on myself than when celebrating my quarter-century milestone this past Monday? One year, I bought the Gucci Soho Shoulder Bag, another year I bought my first pair of Christian Louboutin So Kate Pumps and last year, you all helped me decide between the Saint Laurent Monogram Satchel and the Chanel Wallet on Chain bag. Today I come to you for more advice.
When I first started at PurseBlog I was a handbag girl through and through (naturally), but while writing about shoes over the years, I began to love and appreciate beautiful footwear as much as handbags. For my birthday, my boyfriend surprised me with Valentino Rockstud flip-flops to wear during our upcoming trip to Cancun. I love the flip-flops, but I'm also proud of the fact that I can go out and buy myself something nice, so I wanted to splurge.
I've always loved Valentino Rockstud pumps (which is among the reason they were first up in our Ultimate Shoe Guide), and I've always had a soft spot for them in white. They're crisp, clean, classic and everything I've been looking for in a neutral pump. I tried them on at Saks this weekend, and I loved the way they looked and how comfortable they were (although I knew that already from our TalkShoes Testimonials); I purchased them right on the spot. This is where things get interesting.
Don't get me wrong, I love my Rockstud pumps, but I didn't quite get the adrenaline rush that I usually get when I add something I love to my wardrobe. I couldn't figure out why I wasn't more excited for the Rockstud of my dreams, but I think I've solved the mystery. For a while now, I've been on a Céline kick, and I really want the Céline Phantom Luggage Tote. I know the popularity of the Luggage Tote has slowed down drastically since its debut, and many of you have even questioned the staying power of the bag's design, but I don't care about all of that. I love everything about the Phantom Luggage, no matter what.
The answer may seem obvious as to which one I love more, but hear me out. I have a lot of other things coming up that I need to seriously start saving for, because you and I both know we live in an expensive world. The Céline is over $3,000, and that's lot of money for me to invest right now. My other concern with the Céline bag is I currently don't own any everyday top handle bags, and for the money, I'm worried how I will feel about carrying a bag in the crook of my arm everyday.
Do I keep the shoes and forget about the bag? Or, do I return the shoes and put the money toward the bag. In the long run, is it better to invest a large sum of money into a luxury bag or shoes? Now, if only buying both was an option...
I would love to hear your thoughts and input in the comments!
