Celebs of all stripes are practically married to their Chanel Classic Flaps, at this point. If you're contemplating a Classic Flap purchase, be sure to check out its corresponding Ultimate Bag Guide and Ultimate Global Price Guide.

ACCESSORIES CHANEL
Chanel is one of the biggest and most sought-after accessories brands in the world, and although its best known for its iconic handbags, those are only part of the story. Each season, Chanel also releases an impressive array of wallets, pouches, almost-handbags and other small leather goods, and Chanel fans go justifiably nuts for them.
Just like we did last week with Chanel's Rome-inspired Metiers d'Art 2016 bags, we've got the brand's accessories lookbook for your perusal below, complete with prices (even for exotics). Check them out below--personally, I'm partial to the python and lizard Boy Wallets and WOCs.

CHANEL
The first couple days back at work from a holiday weekend are always rough, but today, we have something that may soothe your soul just a little bit: Chanel's new Metiers d'Art Paris in Rome 2017 bags hit stores today, and we have the collection's lookbook, which includes nearly four dozen bag and US pricing info for all but a couple. (Okay, so the prices probably won't make this week any easier, but the pictures will.)
As with all of Chanel's Metiers d'Art collections, this one is themed around the place where the debut show was held. In this case, that means that some of the bags are theoretically supposed to have a bit of an Italian inflection, but more than that, the collection seems to recall a particular era of Italian film. (Except for the Carrara marble-print Bottle Clutch, though. That's just Italian in general.)
The bags are, of course, totally beautiful and many are wonderfully detailed, and in that regard, they really don't need any explanation. Check out the full set from the lookbook below.

Is Karl Lagerfeld ever going to stop working restlessly, or at least start seeking more conventional places to show his Chanel’s cruise collections? Probably not, or at least not now, as proved by his latest decision to show the upcoming Chanel cruise 2017 collection in (drum rolls, please) Havana, Cuba! Although being a culturally rich country full of traditions and history, Cuba has until this year been almost inaccessible to anyone, who was willing to seek any sort of inspiration from this amazing country.
In fact, for a few months already, with trade relations starting to open up between Cuba and the USA, travelers, businessmen and artists have decided to finally explore the Caribbean archipelago. Cuba has increased its popularity since earlier this year, becoming one of the most popular destinations for many celebrities, such as Katy Perry, Rihanna and the rock & roll star Mick Jagger. Karl Lagerfeld also decided to contribute to the new Cuban chapter, explaining his choice of the location for the Chanel cruise 2017 show stating that “the cultural wealth and the opening of Cuba to the world, make the country a source of inspiration for me and Chanel”.
On the other hand, being the first Latin American country to ever host a Chanel cruise collection’s fashion show, Cuba will also represent a new chapter in Chanel’s history. So, for this forthcoming cruise collection we must expect a mixture of French, Caribbean and Latin American influences, which will probably give Chanel a whole new and unexpected look.
However, although Chanel’s fashion show is going to be the first major fashion event to hit the Cuban capital (its cruise 2017 collection is set to take place in Havana on May 3, 2016), Lagerfeld is not the first fashion designer who found himself greatly inspired by the Cuban culture and nature. Most recently, in fact, designers such as Proenza Schouler’s creative directors and Stella McCartney have been influenced by Cuba, giving their resort 2016 collections a colorful and cheerful Caribbean look.
Cuba, which tried to enter the fashion circuit in the late Eighties with a fashion show called ‘Cubamoda’ (sponsored by the French brand Contrex and which hosted designers such as Paco Rabanne), may finally be ready to enter the spotlight thanks to Chanel. There’s already great anticipation about the event, and many newspapers and reporters can’t help but show their great excitement about it.“In Cuba next spring, leading fashion figures will gather in Havana in one of the most anticipated events in the past half century,” stated an official report by AIN, the Cuban official distributor.
Since the early ’00s, Chanel’s creative director Karl Lagerfeld has circled the globe with his cruise fashion events, flying from Dubai to Singapore, Venice and, most recently, to Seoul. He has always drawn great inspiration from these exotic and exciting cultures, creating some of his most acclaimed pieces. Cuba’s unexplored territory is surely giving a lot of work to Lagerfeld, and we can’t do anything but wait for the designer’s next unconventional show.

It seems like Chanel puts out new bags at an almost impossible pace, and now it's time for another new set to lust after. Chanel's Fall 2015 Pre-Collection bags have arrived in stores as well as to the brand's online lookbook, and we've got all the images and price information below.
The most notable new addition in this group is new hardware for some of the Boy Bags, although it's termed as the "Original Clasp." I checked runway photos from the Boy Bag's Fall 2012 debut and those bags used the same clasp hardware as most Boys have, so the term "Original" seems odd, unless perhaps this was the hardware design first created for the bag and was later replaced before production. (There is, of course, a possibility that this clasp design is instead from somewhere else in the vast Chanel archives.)
Other than that, what's available in the pre-collection will look familiar to Chanel fans: the brand's favorites in new fabrications and embellishments. Check the collection out below.

We love all of the fashion seasons equally, but the disadvantage of resort and pre-fall presentations is that we rarely get any detail shots of handbags; usually brands release images of full looks, which only provide a small peak at the entire accessories picture. As with most things, though, Chanel is significantly more thorough than other brands, and the brand just released a full set of press images featured the Chanel Metiers d'Art Paris-Salzburg 2015 handbags.
This collection made its runway debut two weeks ago in Austria, and now we have an up-close idea of what the brand's Salzburg-inspired Pre-Fall 2015 bags will look like. This collection tends to skew less literal than Chanel's previous few runway shows, with Austrian details here and there that generally don't overwhelm the bags. Perhaps the most notable addition to the Chanel handbag lineup is a Boy Bag with a top handle in addition to its usual shoulder strap. It feels a bit like gilding the lily - the Boy Bag is pretty great as-is - but Chanel fans are always hungry for a new variation on an old favorite.
In general, there are lots of those in this collection. Check out the full lineup below; these bags are likely to become available in mid-summer 2015.
